Shift Supervisor (Full Time)
About The Position
ESFM is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor for its Bolingbrook, Illinois location. This position directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensures assigned work expectations are completed while company policies and procedures are maintained. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM. The pay range is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. ESFM is Compass Group USA’s corporate Integrated Facilities Management division. Its services include environment, health and safety; facilities maintenance and engineering; sustainability; janitorial and industrial cleaning; laboratory support; and workplace solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, including experience leading and managing small teams.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during the assigned shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policies and procedures.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
- Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
