SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policies and procedures are maintained. The position is full time at Fresh & Ready FG FL in Melbourne, Florida, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The fixed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Employees work in a temperature-controlled environment and may be exposed to cold conditions for extended periods. The Shift Supervisor provides training, creates work schedules, evaluates employee performance, and prepares production or sales reports for management. The supervisor helps ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations and serves as a contact for employee complaints or time-off requests. The role may also involve mentoring employees and encouraging their development and advancement. Previous kitchen supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who do not meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
- Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
- May mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
