About The Position

ESFM is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor in Vincennes, Indiana. The role directs associates’ activities during a designated shift and oversees completion of assigned work while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. The supervisor provides training, creates work schedules, evaluates employee performance, and prepares production or sales reports for management. The position also serves as a contact for employee complaints and time-off requests and may mentor and develop employees. Other duties may be assigned.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed; hours may vary. The fixed pay rate is $19.00 per hour. At least one year of supervisory experience is required, and one year of janitorial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who do not meet reasonable work-performance standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
