About The Position

The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversees completion of assigned job expectations while ensuring policies and procedures are maintained. The position is with ESFM, the Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, at 7817 Greenbrier Rd, Madison, Alabama. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional nights. Pay is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Online applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

Previous leadership experience.
Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Direct associates’ activities during the assigned shift and oversee completion of their job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures.
Provide training and create work schedules.
Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
Prepare production or sales reports for management.
Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
