About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. You will help create meaningful customer moments and support the preparation of food and beverages to Starbucks standards, including customized orders. The role involves directing and coordinating the work of other employees while maintaining store operating policies and standards.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Availability to work flexible hours, potentially including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of other employees, including delegating tasks.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized customer requests.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide quality service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
