About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. You help create meaningful customer moments and support a warm, welcoming environment. The role includes preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized to customer requests, and directing and coordinating work during shifts.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Direct and delegate the work of other employees, including coordinating tasks for two or more employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes and customized customer requests.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
