About The Position

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The supervisor directs associates’ activities during an assigned shift and ensures that assigned job expectations are completed while policies and procedures are maintained. The role pays $19.50 to $23.00 per hour and follows a schedule of 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with days that may vary and rotating weekends. More schedule details are provided during the interview.

TouchPoint Support Services serves patients, families, and visitors at Ascension Health hospitals, providing hospitality and support across meals, facilities, and patient services. The organization describes its work as supporting healing through quality service, belonging, and collaboration.

This position includes training and scheduling associates, evaluating performance, supporting employees, and preparing production or sales reports. Requirements

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
