About The Position
Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures. The position is with Morrison Healthcare at Roper St Francis Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a full-time role with a flexible schedule between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; days may vary and weekends rotate. Previous food service or patient services leadership experience is required.

- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
