About The Position
As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will help create a warm and welcoming coffeehouse where customers can connect. You will lead each shift with craft and care, support the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer specifications, and help maintain store operating standards. The position requires customer service experience and experience delegating or coordinating the work of other employees. Requirements
- At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of customer requests.
- At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
- Ability to work flexible hours, potentially including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to direct the work of others.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Effective oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of the retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Direct and delegate the work of other employees and coordinate the tasks of two or more employees.
- Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized customer requests.
- Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Provide customer service and fulfill customer requests.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
