About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead with craft and care to help make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming place for the community. You will prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, and direct or coordinate the work of other employees. The role calls for consistent attendance, customer service, and adherence to store operating, quality, cash-handling, safety, and security standards. Flexible availability may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
• At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships.
• Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
