SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during a designated shift and ensures assigned work expectations are completed while company policies and procedures are followed. The role includes training employees, preparing work schedules, evaluating performance, and preparing production or sales reports. The supervisor may also mentor employees and help them pursue advancement within the organization. Previous culinary and supervisory experience is preferred, but training is available. Open availability is preferred; days and hours may vary. The pay range is $20.25 to $21.38 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensure assigned work expectations are completed while policies and procedures are maintained.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
- Serve as the contact person for employee complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
