SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Ascension Alexian Rehabilitation in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The role directs associates’ activities during an assigned shift and oversees completion of job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure. The supervisor trains associates, creates work schedules, evaluates performance, prepares reports, and helps ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations. The position may also involve mentoring and developing employees. Training is offered, and prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
- Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
