About The Position

The Shift Supervisor assists the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with leading and supervising store personnel, achieving key performance metrics, and ensuring efficient daily store operations. The role ensures regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Shift Supervisor performs key-holding duties such as opening and closing, supports retail processes and staff supervision, maintains visual merchandising and store inventory, and helps ensure employees follow company procedures and applicable regulations. The role also coaches and develops team members, resolves patient issues and escalations, and maintains professional relationships and strict confidentiality.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with management and staff at all levels, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Conversational English sufficient to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Ability to function independently and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies, with flexibility and personal integrity.
Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including people experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks.
For delivery locations only: valid driver's license and passing an MVR background check.

Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform key-holding supervisor duties related to opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff and retail processes.
Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
Ensure consistent compliance with state-specific regulations.
Review, communicate, and ensure compliance with company SOPs, communicating changes to employees.
Coach, train, and develop the team in company service standards and accountability for meeting objectives.
Monitor and maintain store inventory.
Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations.
Maintain professional working relationships with business partners.
Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance.
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
