About The Position
The Temporary/Seasonal Shift Supervisor assists the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with leadership and supervision of store personnel, achievement of key performance metrics, and efficient daily store operations. The role ensures regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This temporary position should not exceed six months of employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Prior cash-handling experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to communicate in conversational English, operate electronic equipment, comprehend safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
- Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass an MVR background check for delivery locations only.
- Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to function independently, demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
- Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including people experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform key-holding supervisor duties related to opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff and retail processes.
- Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
- Ensure consistent compliance with state-specific regulations.
- Review and communicate company SOPs and ensure employees comply with them; communicate any changes to employees.
- Coach, train, and develop the team in company service standards and accountability for meeting objectives.
- Monitor and maintain store inventory.
- Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations.
- Maintain professional working relationships with business partners.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
