About The Position

The Shift Supervisor assists the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with leading and supervising store personnel, achieving key performance metrics, and ensuring efficient daily store operations. The role ensures regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience. It includes key-holding responsibilities related to opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff and retail processes.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, comprehend safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Must be able to pass level 1 and level 2 background checks.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude.

Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform key-holding supervisor duties related to opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff and retail processes.
Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
Ensure consistent compliance with state-specific regulations.
Review and communicate company SOPs, ensure compliance, and communicate changes to employees.
Coach, train, and develop the team in company service standards and accountability for meeting objectives.
Monitor and maintain store inventory.
Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations.
Maintain professional working relationships with business partners.
Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance.
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
