Full Time Shift Supervisor (Security)

About The Position

United Security, Inc. is seeking a vigilant, professional, and customer-focused Shift Supervisor to help ensure the safety and security of residents, staff, and property. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies and incidents, controlling access, enforcing policies, documenting activities, assisting guests and employees, coordinating with emergency services, conducting investigations, and supporting crowd control. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Requirements

Proven security experience.
Proven supervisor experience.
Computer literacy, at least two years of experience working with integrated security systems, and advanced skill with Microsoft Office.
Problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and listening skills, with the ability to multitask projects.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
Physical fitness to stand and walk for long periods and respond rapidly when needed.
Flexible schedule, including availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma.

Responsibilities

Regularly patrol the premises, including the lobby, guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house, to maintain a visible presence and deter security threats.
Monitor CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems.
Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, including disturbances, theft, medical emergencies, and fire.
Help control access to restricted areas and ensure only authorized personnel are admitted.
Enforce rules and policies professionally and respectfully.
Write clear, detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
Assist guests and employees with safety-related issues or concerns.
Coordinate with local emergency services, including fire, police, and ambulance services, when needed.
Investigate property damage, theft, and other suspicious activity.
Support crowd control during events or high-occupancy periods.
Ensure compliance with safety and health procedures in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
