About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising assigned-shift staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekends free. The listed pay rate is $21.46 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Remain calm and efficient when handling common and crisis situations at the client site.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities
