About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role also involves supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The advertised pay is $21.71 per hour, paid weekly. Open availability for any shift is required.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least one year of security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver record check may also be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state and local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, required insurance, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Open availability for any shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
