SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center in Shenandoah, Texas. The role directs associates’ activities during an assigned shift and oversees completion of job expectations while maintaining company policies and procedures. The position pays $19.00 to $24.00 per hour. The schedule is full time, with days and hours that may vary and AM and PM shifts; weekend availability is required. Requirements
- Prior experience with storeroom operations, stocking, ordering, and inventory management is required.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who do not meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure.
