Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1 year previous Environmental Services and/or healthcare experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State & adhere to Piedmont’s Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program Policy 3500 Upon Hire
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree highly Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree highly Preferred
- Registered/Certified Executive Housekeeper (REH/CEH) Preferred
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Directly oversees the activities of assigned Environmental Services staff to ensure that assigned areas are properly cleaned and maintained in accordance with requisite standards of quality and safety.
- Assumes responsibility for care of equipment, control of supplies, and counseling of employees.
- Responsible for making decisions regarding staffing of EVS personnel for appropriate shift to ensure adequate coverage.
