Requirements

1 year previous Environmental Services and/or healthcare experience required.
DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State & adhere to Piedmont’s Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program Policy 3500 Upon Hire Required

Associate’s Degree highly Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree highly Preferred
Previous supervisory experience Preferred
Equivalent education may be substituted for experience Preferred
Registered/Certified Executive Housekeeper (REH/CEH) Preferred
Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) Preferred

Responsibilities

Directly oversees the activities of assigned Environmental Services staff to ensure that assigned areas are properly cleaned and maintained in accordance with requisite standards of quality and safety.
Assumes responsibility for care of equipment, control of supplies, and counseling of employees.
Responsible for making decisions regarding staffing of EVS personnel for appropriate shift to ensure adequate coverage.
