About The Position

The Shift Manager oversees daily operations at Kitchen 44 Cafe, ensuring exceptional service and a positive experience for guests and team members. The role coordinates front- and back-of-house staff during assigned shifts, maintains compliance with company policies and standards, and supports operational efficiency and profitability. The position is full-time in Newcastle, Oklahoma, with a salary range of $16.50 to $19.00 per hour. Work shifts may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming license.
Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality, beverage, or food service industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, and work in a high-volume environment for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house staff during assigned shifts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Train and mentor team members to uphold service standards and provide outstanding guest experiences.
Manage inventory by ordering and receiving supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, working toward satisfactory resolutions.
Monitor performance metrics, including sales and labor costs, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the establishment's dress code.
