About The Position

As a Prep Cook at Traditions Hospitality Group’s Kitchen 44 Cafe in Newcastle, Oklahoma, you will be an integral part of the kitchen team, preparing ingredients and assisting with food production. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure that dishes meet guests’ expectations. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to obtain a Gaming License, if applicable.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
Ability to stand and work in a kitchen for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including pots, pans, and trays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heat and kitchen elements and moderate to high noise levels.

Responsibilities

Prepare food ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing sauces and dressings.
Follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and storing food properly.
Support the culinary team during service by assembling dishes, garnishing plates, and coordinating with kitchen staff.
Follow health and safety regulations, including proper equipment handling and sanitation guidelines.
Communicate with kitchen colleagues and other team members to support smooth operations and timely order execution.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating products, and restocking supplies as needed.
Participate in training, seek feedback from supervisors, and pursue learning and skill development.
