About The Position

The Shift Manager oversees daily operations at Aces Sports Grill, coordinating staff and supporting front-of-house and back-of-house operations during assigned shifts. The role is responsible for maintaining company standards, training and mentoring team members, managing inventory, resolving guest concerns, and monitoring operating results to support efficiency and profitability. The position requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the establishment’s dress code.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming license.
Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality, beverage, or food service industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the establishment’s dress code.
Ability to stand, walk, and work in a high-volume environment for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate staff activities during assigned shifts, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Train and mentor team members to uphold service standards and provide outstanding guest experiences.
Manage inventory by ordering and receiving supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, seeking satisfactory resolutions.
Monitor performance metrics such as sales and labor costs and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
