About The Position

Wingstop is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise restaurant operations during a shift and ensure food safety, product preparation, cleanliness, staffing, and company standards are maintained. The role also performs crew-member duties, including cashier or cook work, while supervising and motivating staff. Shift Leaders help deliver an outstanding guest experience, promote the Wingstop brand, and uphold its operating and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Perform all tasks and responsibilities of a Wingstop crew member.
Provide a guest-friendly environment and outstanding customer service, including greeting guests, maintaining product knowledge, and resolving customer issues efficiently and courteously.
Train newer or less experienced crew members.
Practice inventory control and ensure store policies are followed.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, safety, staffing, and health-safety standards.
Open and/or close the restaurant and meet required work hours.
Manage and motivate crew members, coordinate breaks, and organize kitchen staffing during peak periods.
Assemble and package orders according to Wingstop standards; assist other positions when necessary.
Keep the kitchen and dining room clean throughout the shift and ensure daily and weekly cleaning tasks are completed.
Complete closing procedures, including accounting for and putting away equipment, packing trash neatly, and sweeping and mopping floors.
Promote the Wingstop brand and uphold mandatory operating and QSC requirements.
Enforce uniform and jewelry policies.
Control and maintain cash and account for voids and refunds.
Meet and adjust order quote times for peak business hours.
Avoid crew overtime unless it is an emergency and approved by the general manager.
Represent the Wingstop brand and help ensure guests have a positive, lasting impression.
