About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to collaborate with the General Manager and help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders set the team’s morale and tone, provide feedback, coach team members, and open and close the store with little to no supervision. They help ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. The role offers opportunities to grow into higher-level positions; many General Managers started as Shift Leaders or Team Members. Store hours are described as closing at 2 p.m., and the posting states that employees will not work past 3 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates, including early hours (as early as 3 a.m. depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must pass a background check as applicable under local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training.

Nice To Haves

• A current, valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred; it is required only at specific locations, along with meeting the driving qualifications required by Company policy.
