About The Position

Bruegger’s Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to help the General Manager motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders help set the team’s morale and tone, provide feedback and coaching, and open and close the store with little to no supervision. They help maintain food and beverage quality and a safe, clean store environment. The position offers opportunities for career growth; many General Managers started as Shift Leaders or Team Members. The restaurant closes at 2 p.m., and employees are not required to work past 3 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days as business needs dictate, including early hours (as early as 3 a.m., depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must pass a background check where applicable under local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training.
• A current, valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred, but required only at specific locations; must meet Company driving qualifications where applicable.
