About The Position

Slim Chickens is seeking a Shift Leader for its Concord, North Carolina location. The role provides experience across multiple front- and back-of-house positions, preparing the employee to fill restaurant roles as needed. After training, the employee will be placed in a role that best matches their skills and the restaurant’s needs. Front-of-house positions include Cashier/Runner, Drive-Thru, and Expeditor (Expo); back-of-house positions include Cook, SSW (Service Side Worker), Prep, and QB. The position offers a path to growth in the fast-casual restaurant industry in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Scholarships are available.

Responsibilities

Train and gain experience in multiple front- and back-of-house positions.
Fill restaurant roles as needed and work in other areas of the restaurant as required.
After training, take on a role suited to the employee’s skills and the restaurant’s needs.
Perform work in positions that may include Cashier/Runner, Drive-Thru, Expeditor (Expo), Cook, SSW (Service Side Worker), Prep, or QB.
