About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team. The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide multiple levels of support to clients. This position supports a female client who requires transportation to dialysis appointments. Shifts are 6 hours, 7 days a week.

Requirements

Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
A vehicle that is insured.
A valid driver’s license.
A current TB test.
Pass a background check and drug check.
Be eligible for employment verification through E-Verify.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance to elderly clients or people recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, including help with showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
Help clients with mobility around the home and outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Plan and prepare meals.
Complete client shopping or accompany clients while they shop.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Report unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Assist clients with activities essential for daily living, including serving meals and other necessary tasks.
Provide transportation, including to the client’s dialysis appointments.
