About The Position

Bruegger’s Bagels is hiring a Shift Leader to collaborate with the General Manager and help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. The role helps set team morale and tone, provides feedback and coaching to team members, and opens and closes the store with little to no supervision. Shift Leaders help ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. The position offers opportunities for career growth, including advancement to General Manager.

Stores close in the afternoon. Employees will not work past 3 p.m.; there are no evening or night shifts. Work may include early hours, as early as 3 a.m. depending on the restaurant, and weekends. Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates, including early hours (as early as 3 a.m. depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must pass a background check where applicable under local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training.
• A current, valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred; it is required only at specific locations, along with meeting the driving qualifications required by Company policy.
