About The Position

The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in a Papa John’s restaurant to ensure high-quality products and customer service and support restaurant profitability. The role manages restaurant operations, including executing company policies, procedures, programs, and systems, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices. The position also performs assigned station duties and contributes to product quality, customer satisfaction, cost control, inventory management, and shift coverage.

Responsibilities

Supervise shifts and/or work areas in the restaurant.
Follow station guidelines and techniques, including dough management, accuracy, and proper portioning.
Perform assigned station duties, prepare quality products, follow preparation procedures, and maintain established product holding times.
Contribute to achieving the company’s product goal.
Meet customer needs and expectations, minimize complaints, and respond appropriately to customer needs.
Follow Team Member handbook policies and procedures, including those related to image, attendance, safety, and security.
Exhibit the company’s Core Values, maintain a positive attitude, work well with others, and adapt to change.
Ensure adequate shift coverage.
Provide immediate feedback and correct problems when identified.
Maintain product quality, customer service, MCE readiness, food and labor costs, and restaurant cleanliness within acceptable standards.
Follow policies and procedures related to shift management.
Contribute to profit goals by following company guidelines and targets and accurately using the FOCUS System.
Execute cash management duties.
Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels using company systems and guidelines to minimize loss.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
