About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to work with the General Manager in motivating the team and delivering a great guest experience. The Shift Leader helps set the team’s morale and tone, provides feedback and coaching to team members, and opens and closes the store with little to no supervision. The role also supports food and beverage quality and maintaining a safe, clean store environment. The position offers opportunities for career growth, including advancement to General Manager. Stores close at 2 p.m.; the posting states employees will not work past 3 p.m.

The position is located at 9490 Main St, Fairfax, Virginia 22031. The listed hourly pay range is $11.67–$18.67, subject to local and state minimum-wage regulations. Tip eligibility is subject to state regulations, and eligibility for additional benefits depends on position guidelines at the time of hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates, including early hours (as early as 3 a.m., depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must pass a background check where applicable under local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training.

Nice To Haves

• A current, valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred; it is required only at specific locations, where applicable, and candidates must meet driving qualifications under Company policy.
