About The Position

The Sewer/Presser provides customers with high-quality craft and service. The role performs sewing and pressing tasks according to Nordstrom guidelines and service standards, manages workload and customer needs, completes items on time, and meets individual and department productivity goals while following proper processes. The Sewer/Presser also uses store technology to organize customer alteration needs and works collaboratively with the Alterations and Store teams. The schedule may be flexible based on business needs.

Requirements

Previous sewing and pressing experience; 2–3 years is preferred.
Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment.
Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs.
