About The Position

The School of Environment and Sustainability is seeking to hire Sessional Lecturers to teach specific courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. These positions involve delivering lectures virtually in a hybrid format, with an expected enrollment limit of 35 students per course. The courses are located in Saskatoon.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in an interdisciplinary sustainability field or cognate area.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the interdisciplinary approach/philosophy in SENS.
  • Complete the CUPE 3287 Employment Application Form.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ENVS 814 Qualitative Methods from September 14, 2026 to October 23, 2026.
  • Teach ENVS 820 Water and Human Health and Wellbeing from October 26, 2026 to December 11, 2026.
  • Teach ENVS 843 Energy Project Finance from September 7, 2026 to October 23, 2026.
  • Teach ENVS 844 Community Vision and Engagement from October 26, 2026 to December 11, 2026.
  • Deliver lectures in a virtual/hybrid format.
  • Manage class sizes with an expected enrollment limit of 35 students.
