About The Position
The Department of Soil Science, College of Agriculture and Bioresources invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to teach specific courses during the 2026-27 Fall Session. These courses include RRM 302 (Agricultural and Environmental Geomatics), EVSC 110 (Renewable Resources and Environment), and EVSC 220 (Environmental Soil Science). All courses are offered as lectures with specific schedules and enrollment limits. The appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
Requirements
- Minimum of M.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
- Relevant teaching experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach RRM 302 (01) Agricultural and Environmental Geomatics during the 2026-27 Fall Session (Term One: September to December).
- Teach EVSC 110 (01) Renewable Resources and Environment during the 2026-27 Fall Session (Term One: September to December).
- Teach EVSC 220 (01) Environmental Soil Science during the 2026-27 Fall Session (Term One: September to December).
- Prepare and mark course materials.
- Potentially teach off-campus courses, requiring a valid driver's license.
