About The Position
The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for PHAR 324, a 0.4 FTE position, to teach the Science of Pharmacotherapy 3: Toxicology course during the 2025-2026 Fall Term. This course will be delivered in-person and focuses on linking foundational sciences to clinical therapy, explaining basic principles for improved treatment, comparing advanced therapeutics to standard of care, interpreting toxicology problems, and employing problem-solving skills with patient concerns. The role involves both course material re-design and delivery, constituting 40% of the course content.
Requirements
- Pharmacy undergraduate degree with familiarity with current community pharmacy practice settings.
- Research experience in pharmaceutical sciences with a focus on drug delivery.
- Current eligibility to work on the University of Saskatchewan campus.
- Previous teaching experience in related pharmacy subjects.
- Ability to work on developing new materials and delivering them to students.
