About The Position

The Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology, College of Medicine invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2026-2027 Regular session: Course Number, Section, and Name: NEUR 301.3 (Fundamental Neuroscience Intercellular Communication). Term and Course Dates: Fall Session 2026 (September 1, 2026 to December 23, 2026). CRN: 88072. Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a lecture. Course Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:30pm to 2:20pm. Expected Enrollment Limit: 130. A valid driver’s license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an M.Sc. (or equivalent) in neuroscience or a related discipline.
  • Teaching experience.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently pursuing or holding a PhD in neuroscience.
  • Experience teaching or demonstrating in a neuroscience course environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course NEUR 301.3 (Fundamental Neuroscience Intercellular Communication) during the Fall Session 2026.
  • Prepare and mark course materials.
