About The Position

The School of Environment and Sustainability is seeking Sessional Lecturers to teach specific courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. These positions involve delivering lectures virtually in a hybrid format, with specific course details, schedules, and enrollment limits provided for each. Courses offered include ENVS 845 Project Development: Governance, Law and Regulations (Term One), ENVS 846 Negotiations & Consultations in Sustainable Development (Term Two), and ENVS 848 Creating a Community Energy Plan (Term Two). All courses are scheduled for evenings and have an expected enrollment limit of 35 students. The work location is Saskatoon.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in an interdisciplinary sustainability field or cognate area.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the interdisciplinary approach/philosophy in SENS.
  • Completion of the CUPE 3287 Employment Application Form.
  • Submission of curriculum vitae (if applicable).

Nice To Haves

  • PhD is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ENVS 845 Project Development: Governance, Law and Regulations during Term One (October 26 – December 11, 2026).
  • Teach ENVS 846 Negotiations & Consultations in Sustainable Development during Term Two (January 4, 2027 – February 12, 2027).
  • Teach ENVS 848 Creating a Community Energy Plan during Term Two (April 5–29, 2027).
  • Deliver lectures virtually in a hybrid format.
  • Manage course enrollment up to the limit of 35 students.
