About The Position

The Department of Management has a Sessional Lecturer position available for the Fall 2026 academic term. This role involves teaching MGT262 Psychology at Work, covering theoretical ideas and practical applications concerning individual and group behavior in organizations. Topics include motivation, influence, communication, supervision, decision-making, and workforce diversity. The appointment period runs from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The minimum stipend rate inclusive of vacation pay is $9,997.47 for a 0.5 Full Course Equivalent (FCE). Applicants are expected to have superior teaching ability, suitable academic and/or professional qualifications, and currency and mastery of the subject matter. Preference is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or III. Responsibilities

  • Preparation and delivery of course content, including lectures and/or seminars.
  • Creation of course ware.
  • Development and administration of assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Marking and grading of student work and submission of grades.
  • Maintenance of reasonable hours of student contact outside of scheduled contact hours.
  • Supervision of the day-to-day work of any Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants assigned to the course.
