About The Position

The Department of History in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following off-campus courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. The course is HIST 193.3 (C10, C14) History Matters Topics in Canadian History, offered in Term 2 (January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027). The course will be delivered as a hybrid lecture (In Person in Melfort, SK) on Mondays from 6:30 PM to 9:20 PM, with an expected enrollment limit of 40. The location is Suncrest College in Melfort, SK. A valid driver's license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in History or related discipline
  • Relevant teaching or professional experience
  • A valid driver's license
