About The Position

The Department of Political Studies, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach specific courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. The courses include POLS 111.3 (01) Politics Power, and Government in the Fall Term, POLS 112.3 (01) Justice and Injustice in Politics and Law in the Fall Term, and POLS 110.3 (02) Understanding our Globalized World in the Winter Term. All courses are offered as Lectures with an expected enrollment limit of 70 and are located in Saskatoon. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment. A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an M.A. degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. degree is preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience in a university setting is considered an asset.

Responsibilities
