About The Position

The Department of Indigenous Studies, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2026 fall session: Course Number, Section, and Name: INDG 107.3 (01) Introduction to Canadian Indigenous Studies. Term and Course Dates: Fall term (September to December 2026). CRN: 85165. Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture. Course Schedule: Tuesday/Thursday 2:30pm to 3:50pm. Expected Enrollment Limit: 125. Location: Saskatoon. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Indigenous Studies or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Indigenous research.
  • Ability to teach Introduction to Canadian Indigenous Studies (INDG 107.3).

  • Previous experience teaching Indigenous Studies.
