About The Position

The Department of Psychology and Health Studies in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach off-campus courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. This includes courses such as PSY 120.3 (Biological and Cognitive Bases of Psychology) and PSY 121.3 (Social, Clinical, Cultural and Developmental Bases of Psychology), as well as PSY 226.3 (Social Psychology). These courses will be offered in various locations including Melfort, North Battleford, and Yorkton, SK, with different delivery modes such as In Person Lecture and hybrid Lecture. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology or related discipline.
  • Relevant teaching or professional experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach off-campus courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session.
  • Deliver lectures and facilitate learning for courses such as PSY 120.3, PSY 121.3, and PSY 226.3.
  • Prepare course materials and assignments.
  • Grade student work and provide feedback.
  • Maintain student records.
