About The Position
This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach BIO360H5F Biometrics I at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The role involves preparing and delivering course content, developing and marking assignments and exams, submitting grades, and holding office hours. The course will include in-person lectures and practical sessions. The lecturer will also supervise any assigned Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Biology or related field
- Previous teaching experience in this course or similar courses
- Academic qualifications
- Ability and suitability for the position

- Qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III
Responsibilities
- Preparation and delivery of course content
- Development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams
- Calculation and submission of grades
- Contact with students through regular office hours
- Completion of all grades, including potential make-up exams
- Supervision of the day-to-day work of any Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants assigned to the course
