About The Position

This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the BIO347H5F Epigenetics course at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The role involves all normal duties associated with teaching a university course, including preparation and delivery of course content, development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams. The lecturer will also be responsible for calculating and submitting grades, holding office hours, and completing all grades, which may include make-up exams. The course will feature in-person lectures and practical sessions. Additionally, the position includes supervision of the day-to-day work of any Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants assigned to the course.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Biology or related field
• Previous teaching experience in this course or similar courses
• Academic qualifications
• Ability and suitability for the position

Nice To Haves

• Qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III
