About The Position

The Women’s and Gender Studies Program in the Department of Political Studies in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following off-campus courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. The course GENS 112.3 (C60, C64) Introduction to Womens and Gender Studies (formerly WGST 112.3) will be offered in Term 2 (January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027). This course will be offered as a hybrid Lecture (In Person in Yorkton, SK) with actual course days/times on Wednesday from 4:30 PM to 7:20 PM. The expected enrollment limit is 58. The location for this course is Suncrest College in Yorkton, SK. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Women’s and Gender Studies or related discipline
  • Relevant teaching or professional experience
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses
