About The Position

The Department of Curriculum Studies, College of Education is seeking Sessional Lecturers to teach various courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. These positions involve delivering lectures and engaging with students in a variety of subject areas within the curriculum studies field.

Requirements

  • M.Ed. degree (or equivalent graduate degree) or significant progress on a M.Ed. degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant teaching or professional experience.
  • For specific courses (ECUR 265, ECUR 309 G81, ECUR 311 87, ECUR 311 G81, ECUR 320 G81, ECUR 320 87, ECUR 382 G81): Applicants must possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit culture as well as the socio-economic and pedagogical factors associated with teaching this body of students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses, including EART 303 01 | Methods in Elementary Visual Art, EART 331 01 | Methods in Secondary Visual Art, ECUR 265 01 & 03 | Teaching for Reconciliation in the K to 12 Curricula, ECUR 309 03, 07 & 87 | Introduction to Elementary English Language Arts, ECUR 309 G81 | Introduction to Elementary English Language Arts (SUNTEP), ECUR 311 87 | Methods in K to 9 Mathematics I (ITEP), ECUR 311 G81 | Methods in K to 9 Mathematics I (SUNTEP), ECUR 320 G81 | Literacy Across the Secondary Curriculum SUNTEP, ECUR 320 87 | Literacy Across the Secondary Curriculum ITEP, ECUR 379 01 | Introductory Methods in Secondary English Language Arts, and ECUR 382 G81 | Methods in K to 9 Mathematics I (SUNTEP).
  • Deliver lectures according to the specified course schedule.
  • Manage expected enrollment limits for each course.
  • Adhere to the University of Saskatchewan's policies and procedures.
