About The Position

Bank of America is seeking an experienced, senior-level ServiceNow Developer to implement and maintain the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) module within an enterprise ServiceNow platform. The role supports the Global Third Party Program, which plans to implement TPRM through ServiceNow in 2027. The developer is expected to understand out-of-the-box configuration, industry best practices, and ServiceNow capabilities for extending and integrating supporting solutions. The role coordinates with the Product Owner and platform Architects to deliver compliant business value within established SDLC and change management frameworks.

The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, or Plano, Texas, and follows a hybrid schedule with three onsite days per week.

Requirements

• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification, as listed in the intake notes.
• Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification, as listed in the intake notes.
• 3–5+ years of experience developing and supporting ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow Workspaces, Flows, ACLs, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions/Pages, Forms, Playbooks, Portals, and/or Reports.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, APIs, integrations, and workflow automation.
• Experience designing, configuring, and developing ServiceNow platform integrations, including connectors and Scripted REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, release management, testing, and deployment practices using Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to balance innovation with regulatory and operational requirements.

Nice To Haves

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification; the posting also lists this under required qualifications.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments, preferably in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience supporting risk, compliance, governance, or enterprise service management initiatives.
• Familiarity with regulatory, audit, and cybersecurity requirements common within financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and user interfaces.
• Implement solutions using ServiceNow platform capabilities, including custom applications, APIs, business rules, flows, and catalog items.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Participate in all SDLC phases, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Support release management and successful deployment through established governance, change control, and DevOps practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other enterprise integration technologies.
• Ensure solutions meet security, audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing platform enhancements.
