About The Position

Improvix Technologies is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow enterprise platform modules within our federal program. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing and delivering complex ServiceNow solutions, integrating advanced modules, and leveraging the platform for enhanced organizational efficiency. Knowledge of integrating AI capabilities into the platform is a strong bonus. This role demands a hands-on architect with a proven track record in implementing enterprise-level modules and managing ServiceNow custom applications. The candidate will also support Windows Server implementation and upgrades to align with evolving technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of combined hands-on ServiceNow experience, with at least 2 years of ServiceNow Architect experience including platform architecture and enterprise module implementation.
  • Proven expertise in deploying ITSM applications with experience in at least one other module such as ITOM, HAM, SAM, SPM, HR, Security (Vault), GRC, Automation Engine, and CMDB.
  • Ability to provide total release management - Experience completing release cycle management. leading code reviews, diligently conducting environment management, update set deployment, conducting security best practices, create documentation for releases during Agile Sprint cycles and track any dependencies.
  • 5+ years expertise as a ServiceNow developer, with strong experience in - ITSM Catalog and process flow automation, custom application development and cross-scope solutioning, portal development, deep understanding of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting objects, and experience with implementing security controls
  • Familiarity with federal standards and requirements, including compliance frameworks.
  • CSA (Certified System Admin), CAD Certified Application Developer), and at least one CIS (Certified Implemtation Specialist) certification

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • An understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application within ServiceNow.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API's, MIDserver configuration, and Integration Hub
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and integration into ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement ServiceNow platform solutions across multiple modules, including: ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, HR, SPM, GRC, Security (ServiceNow Vault), Automation Engine, CMDB
  • Design, develop, and deploy custom applications within ServiceNow tailored to federal requirements.
  • Integrate AI-driven solutions into ServiceNow modules to enhance automation, predictive analysis, and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
  • Oversee Windows Server implementation, upgrades, and integrations as required by the environment.
  • Lead workshops and technical discussions with stakeholders to define platform requirements and align ServiceNow solutions with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and stakeholders, to deliver optimized ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Ensure platform compliance with federal security and operational standards, including NIST and FISMA.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and ensure best practices in architecture and development.
