About The Position

Dolan Auto Group is seeking a Service Valet to support service customers and help maintain clean service areas at its Toyota location in Reno, Nevada. The role focuses on providing a courteous customer experience, safely moving and preparing vehicles, transporting customers and vehicles, and keeping service areas and shuttle vans clean. The position may also involve working assigned stations and delivering or retrieving vehicles from other Dolan Auto Group locations, vendors, dealerships, and businesses. The role requires standing for extended periods, repetitive bending and other movements, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds without assistance. Work may involve exposure to extreme temperatures and other weather conditions. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to perform repetitive movements, including squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast-paced walking, and light jogging when necessary.
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to work outdoors or in areas exposed to weather and extreme temperature ranges.

Responsibilities

Be ready to work at the start of the shift and available to assist guests.
Maintain positive interactions with coworkers, managers, and customers; behave professionally and courteously.
Prepare incoming vehicles by installing paper floor mats and vehicle bags.
Move incoming and outgoing vehicles on the service drive, open service garage doors for customers as needed, and park vehicles in designated customer areas.
Record parking locations on key tags, noting manual transmissions as directed, and promptly hang keys on the dispatch board peg corresponding to the last two numbers on the key tag.
Drive cautiously and follow speed limits.
Retrieve customer keys from the cashier and bring vehicles to the service drive promptly.
Prepare vehicles for customer pickup by removing floor mats, seat bags, key tags, and rearview-mirror hangtags; apply a new oil-change sticker and remove the old one if present.
Wipe down designated vehicle surfaces after pulling vehicles onto the service drive.
Assist customers courteously and connect paperwork questions with the customer's service advisor or a drive manager when the advisor is unavailable.
Direct customers to appropriate team members in the service area.
Transport and deliver vehicles among Dolan Auto Group locations and, as needed, to or from vendors, dealerships, and other businesses.
Shuttle customers to and from home and work.
Clean shop equipment when requested; empty service-drive and garage-area garbage bins; and discard tires and boxes as needed.
Refuel shuttle vans and customer vehicles and maintain the cleanliness of shuttle vans.
Maintain clean service-drive and parking-garage areas by sweeping, squeegeeing water or snow, and removing debris.
Complete the daily check sheet with initials.
Work assigned stations, including cashier coverage according to the provided rotation schedule.
